Range vs Price Comparison

What is Peak DC Charge?

This is the maximum power at which the EV can be charged using a DC fast charger.

A higher kW rating means a quicker charge.

However, DC charging follows a 'curve', and this peak rate is generally only matched for a short period during the charging session (when the battery is at a low state of charge).

Note that your charge speed will always be limited by the capacity of the charger you are plugged into. E.g. If you are using a 50 kW charger (often found in some rural settings), you won't be able to exceed 50 kW even if your EV can handle more.
